Our client is a U.S.-based SaaS company helping real estate teams run inspections more efficiently. Their platform processes photos, videos, and voice notes captured in the field—even offline—and turns them into structured inspection reports with the help of a built-in AI assistant.
Live since 2014 and used in 20+ countries, they've already processed over 100 million inspection photos and support more than 20,000 active users.
This next phase is focused on elevating the mobile experience—improving offline reliability, integrating AI workflows, and optimizing performance for a wide range of devices.
Your Role:
You'll take ownership of the mobile experience, building and refining the React Native app used by thousands of inspectors around the world. This role includes hands-on feature development, UI enhancements, and solving real-world challenges like offline data sync, media capture, and multilingual support.
You'll:
- Build and maintain core features in React Native, focusing on performance and usability
- Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to ship reliable features fast
- Improve offline capabilities and ensure smooth data syncs in unreliable network conditions
- Support media-heavy workflows including camera integration, audio capture, and file storage
- Ensure a smooth UX across Android and iOS devices
- Handle real-time updates, background tasks, and edge cases from the field
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement
You Bring:
- 5+ years of mobile development experience, with 2+ years in React Native
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture, performance, and offline-first design
- Experience working with native modules (iOS/Android), camera access, and media capture
- Comfortable with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
- Familiarity with API integration, local storage, and mobile testing
- Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Javascript and native iOS/Android development
- Exposure to AI-driven or voice-enabled interfaces
- Experience working in fast-paced startups or product-led teams
- Built apps that handle large-scale media uploads or offline-first workflows
- Familiarity with accessibility and multilingual UI design
