About The Role
Account Executive:

The Account Executive will be a highly motivated, technically fluent sales professional to join our growing team. This team delivers industry-leading electric powertrain technologies to OEMs, specialty vehicle manufacturers, and upfitters across a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.

As the Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing B2B sales opportunities for our modular powertrain systems, including battery packs, traction motors, control units, and vehicle integration services. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to deliver tailored electrification solutions for off-highway, yard, and specialty vehicle platforms.

This is a strategic, customer-facing role at the intersection of clean tech, commercial transportation, and industrial innovation. If you thrive on building new markets, working with cutting-edge technology, and delivering real-world impact, you'll fit right in.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • You would split your time between:

  • Admin support: handling recurring tasks like parts tracking, quote coordination, document prep, and internal follow-ups

  • Sales Outreach: engaging new prospects and supporting Felipe in early sales funnel efforts

  • Must be:

  • Proactive communicator
  • Drive the entire sales process from lead generation to deal close, including product demos, technical presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Identify and target OEMs, upfitters, retrofitters, and industrial vehicle manufacturers across sectors like ports, agriculture, material handling, and defense.
  • Lead discovery calls, product presentations, and site visits with a consultative approach
  • Understand technical requirements and partner with engineering and integration teams to develop customer-specific solutions and ensure feasibility and successful integration or systems.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting within HubSpot CRM
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for customers navigating the shift to electrification
  • Translate customer feedback and industry trends into actionable insights for internal teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle from initial contact to product delivery and integration support.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in powertrain, transportation, or industrial systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Consultative selling mindset with excellent listening and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and G-Suite tools
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities independently
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with EV powertrain components (batteries, inverters, traction motors, control units, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with OEMs, retrofitters, or specialty vehicle manufacturers
  • Technical aptitude in mechanical or electrical systems
  • Demonstrated success in launching or expanding new product lines
