Face of the Office - Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to be the face of our office. This individual will provide top-notch customer service to all clients via phone, email, or in-person contact, while also providing general office support to staff and maintaining a fully stocked office with necessary supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate courteously with customers through various channels, resolving inquiries related to operations, benefits, and claims processing.
- Respond to customer inquiries professionally within established turnaround times, providing follow-up and feedback to improve service and processes.
- Enter payment information into the system within set timelines and send reports to individual agencies for pending/return payments.
- Contact customers to gather payment information and communicate case dispositions.
- Support departments by providing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) as needed.
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND ACHIEVE POSITIVE REVIEWS OF SERVICE RESPONSIVENESS.
- Greet visitors accordingly and maintain a clean and organized Reception Area.
- Keep office supplies stocked, manage inventory, and order as needed.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excel in analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Show independence and self-motivation in completing tasks.
- Deliver exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
- Work effectively under pressure and remain calm during emergencies.
- Multitask efficiently and work well in a team environment.
- Possess computer literacy with strong keyboard skills and fluency in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service, particularly with demanding clients across different countries.
- Familiarity with standard healthcare industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Salary Range:
$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
