Lesson Planning:
Creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, interactive activities, games, and multimedia resources to ensure active participation and effective learning.
Language Instruction:
Delivering interactive lessons that focus on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English while catering to the learning styles and abilities of our learners
Classroom Management:
Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behavior, and ensuring a safe and conducive space for learning.
Assessment and Progress Tracking:
Implementing our assessment tools, such as quizzes, assignments, and projects, to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Differentiation:
Adapting instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs, abilities, and backgrounds within the classroom.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
Qualifications
Indispensable:
Experience:
Previous experience working in an educational setting with young learners, preferably with experience in teaching English as a second language.
Language Proficiency:
C1 or higher in English, both written and spoken.
Pedagogical Skills:
Understanding of child development, language acquisition theories, and effective teaching methodologies for young learners.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity:
A creative approach to designing engaging lessons and activities that capture learners' attention and foster their language development.
Patience and Adaptability:
The ability to remain patient, flexible, and adaptable in a dynamic and sometimes challenging classroom environment.
Preferred:
Certification:
A teaching certification or qualification such as TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), TESOL, CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), or equivalent
Technology Proficiency:
Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources that enhance language learning, as well as the ability to integrate them into lessons.
Cultural Awareness:
Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to integrate cultural elements into lessons to promote global awareness.
