We are looking for a EHS Analyst to join our team in Quito, Ecuador.


Main responsabilities:

Enhance Service Value:

Support the continuous improvement of the value that Wärtsilä delivers to its clients by ensuring excellence in EHS practices throughout service operations.

Address Client

Requirements:
Proactively respond to the growing and evolving EHS demands from clients, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and industry expectations.

Ensure Regulatory Compliance:

Monitor and enforce compliance with increasingly stringent local, international, and contractual EHS regulations and standards, reducing legal risks and safeguarding operational integrity.

Support Corporate Health, Safety and Well-being Initiatives:Actively contribute to the implementation of corporate programs focused on employee well-being and healthy habits, promoting a culture of care and prevention.

Maintain IMS and Audit Readiness:

Provide technical support for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), and assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits under ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 45000 standards.

Requirements:
Environmental Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Biotechnological Engineer, Industrial Engineer and/or similar.
Desirable 4th level (Diploma or a Master's degree) in safety, occupational health, environment and/or similar.
1 to 2 years of experience in EHS topics.
Desirable certifications, training in EHS topics.
Desirable knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
Desirable intermediate level of English.
Knowledge of MSOffice package.
Effective communication.
Teamwork and corporate leadership.
