Why this role matters:
As our HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations, supporting our employees, and maintaining compliance across our organization. Your work will allow our teams to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to our families.
What you'll do:
- Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding for new and departing employees.
- Maintain accurate HR records and update HR systems.
- Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to support HR projects and initiatives.
- Proactively identify HR process improvements and assist in implementing them.
What you'll bring:
Must-haves:
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience.
- Previous experience with an international company is highly desirable.
- Residents of Quito, Ecuador.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and work independently.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in a medical or health services environment in USA.
Work setup & schedule:
- 100% remote from Quito, with occasional in-person meetings if needed.
- 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern (Miami) time.
- Home office requirements: distraction-free workspace, laptop, and high-speed internet.
Compensation & benefits:
- Salary: $1,500 per month.
- Full statutory benefits in accordance with Ecuadorian law (e.g., IESS enrollment, décimos, vacation, and holidays).
