Job Overview:

The Bilingual Virtual PCR will assist providers and patients in scheduling and coordinating appointments for Behavioral Health and Dental services. This role involves handling both inbound and outbound calls, updating paperwork and patient records, and collaborating with clinic staff to ensure accurate documentation and smooth appointment flow.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, demonstrate professionalism in communication, and possess strong administrative and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to schedule, confirm, or follow up on patient appointments.
  • Handle inbound calls from patients regarding scheduling, inquiries, or cancellations.
  • Review and update patient records, appointment details, and other documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
  • Update and organize paperwork related to patient records, appointment requests, and clinic coordination.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and providers to ensure efficient scheduling and information flow.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive patient data.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
  • Support other administrative duties related to patient coordination and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, patient coordination, or administrative support preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems (e.g., AdvancedMD, Epic, Kareo, or similar) is ideal.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and paperwork.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace tools.
  • Two-screen setup and a reliable backup internet connection are required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in Behavioral Health or Dental settings.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask efficiently.
  • Professionalism and discretion in managing patient information.
