Job Description
Title: Transport Ops Specialist Function: Logistics Department: Transportation Reports to: DC Manager Direct Reports: None Overall Job Function: To support and lead day to day transport needs, operating standards, transport service quality, lead time and cost performance Job Responsibility including but not limited to:
- Proactive outbound control, DC outbound, stores and carriers
- Support and educate transport systems users, providing on-site training and support
- Coordination and alignment with all related departments on operational SOPS for new services or initiatives
- Reporting KPI’s, deviating routes that need adjusting with stakeholders in DC and transport operations
- Ensure that all transport related systems (Delcon, RFID, YMS etc.) works as expected and used in a correct way to aspire best service to the stores, and ensure that business is not interrupted
- Ensure that all transport systems and related procedures are implemented and followed by all end users
- Monitor H&M transport system integration towards carrier systems
- Monitor, report and coordinate transport unit flows throughout the region and/or within the assigned markets
- Monitor stock deliveries to be in full, at the correct frequency and in time; monitor fill grade targets are met Financial Accountability: N/A
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics or operational logistics routines, with preference to Transportation field Competencies:
- Deep expertise in operational transport processes to serve online and stores
- Strong understanding of business needs from sales side for online and stores
- Solid overview on specifics and capabilities in regional transport operations to serve brand needs
- Expertise in setting up and or maintaining a TMS
- Pronounced transport focus and commercial sense to best serve requirements
- Ability to collaborate and co-create with others
- Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth
- Inclusive and empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity
- Ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture
