About the Role
We are looking to add new talent to our Hydrotechnical Engineering Team to support a diverse portfolio of mining, water resources, hydrotechnical, and civil infrastructure projects across Latin America and internationally. The Senior Hydrotechnical Engineer (Level D) role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead complex hydrology, hydraulics, hydrogeology, and water resources engineering projects while contributing to business development and technical excellence within our growing team. In this role, you will manage multidisciplinary project teams, provide technical leadership, coordinate directly with clients, oversee field programs, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions for the mining and infrastructure sectors. You will also play an active role in project management, business development, mentoring junior staff, and supporting the strategic growth of the Hydrotechnical group. This Role Will Give You the Opportunity To
• Lead hydrotechnical and water resources projects from planning through delivery.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as Project Manager and coordinate directly with clients.
• Oversee field investigations and technical studies related to hydrology, hydraulics, and hydrogeology.
• Review and approve technical reports and engineering deliverables.
• Support business development, proposals, and client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a strong safety and quality culture. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Fluid Mechanics Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in hydrotechnical, water resources, mining, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and hydrogeology.
• Experience leading engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, MODFLOW, and related engineering software.
• Advanced English skills; Portuguese is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
