We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / On-Site Contract Manager to oversee the successful execution of an ongoing project in Esmeraldas, Ecuador.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, contract execution, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination, with the ability to manage day-to-day project activities independently in an on-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee overall contract and project execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders. Receive, assess, and coordinate project requirements. Assign and coordinate resources to support project objectives. Manage and oversee subcontractors and service providers. Monitor quality, schedule, compliance, and overall performance. Identify issues and coordinate corrective actions as needed. Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements Previous experience in a Project Manager, Contract Manager, or similar leadership role. Demonstrated experience managing projects, resources, and subcontractors. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in an on-site environment. Fluent English (written and spoken). Ability to work on-site for the duration of the assignment.
Location:
Esmeraldas, Manta, or Quito, Ecuador. Candidates based in Manta or Quito must be willing to relocate to Esmeraldas at their own expense.
