QEHS officer
Responsibilities:
• In the scope of local entity, ensure that all SICPA policies including those concerning Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental protection are respected. Quality Strategy & Organization: In close collaboration and under the lead of Global functional leaders based in headquarter (Switzerland) deploy and maintain the local QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety) System:
• EH&S requirements deployment and monitoring
• Implement and drive an adequate local Operational Quality Organization including supplier quality (internal and external), incoming inspection (when applicable) and operational quality. Ensure effective reporting and drive sustainable resolution of quality issues end to end.
• Ensure Calibration process for devices is deployed and implemented. (when applicable)
• Continuously drive and promote Performance and Quality culture and initiatives across teams EH&S
• Implement an EH&S culture by deploying the headquarter guidelines
• Perform the risk analyses, conduct operational audits, investigate the EH&S events
• Ensure the EH&S legal watch activity locally and its conformity assessment accordingly
• Report the KPI and global goal achievement to the headquarter. Operational quality:
• Coordinate, implement and improve Supplier Quality Assurance policy and activities for Local Suppliers (when applicable)
• Ensure Incoming Quality Inspections, in process and final controls are in place and recorded (when applicable)
• For internally and externally supplied material and products Manage, monitor and report non-conformities:
• Ensure problem reporting as per established process
• Drive resolution: coordination meeting with relevant internal stakeholders, apply problem solving techniques to identify root causes, maintain detailed records and prepare management summary
• Track and follow up actions on supplied material: execute and coordinate control, block and free material according to headquarter guidelines
• Ensure that feedback loop, improvement and preventive actions are defined, implemented and effectiveness confirmed. Calibration Process (When APPLICABLE): Acknowledge and deploy Calibration Global Process and Guidelines, in particular:
• Ensure Calibration data are provided in quality and on time.
• Ensure visibility of devices under calibration.
• Raise divergences from global calibration process and guidelines Continuos improvement and Performance:
• Control and improve Local Entity Quality through effective tools and methodologies,
• Promote Quality Tools and support related trainings (8D, SPC, Non-Conformance Monitoring, Lean, 6 Sigma…),
• Implement and adapt established Quality Standards,
• Ensure that Process Control Plans and Outgoing Controls are implemented.
• Deploy adequate systems to ensure prevention, defect analysis and correction,
• Conduct Operational Audits,
• Ensure correct data reporting according to Global and/or Quality KPIs, lead Local Quality Improvement, develop & coordinate quality improvement programs, In terms of education and experience, we require:
• 5 years in Process & Quality field and 3-4 years in project / team management.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001),
• Excellent experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Tools,
• Experience in Customer Satisfaction and Complaints Management,
• Experience in Supplier Quality Management,
• Experience in Supplier, System and Process Audits,
• Knowledge of statistical process control and 6Sigma
• Good knowledge of project and teams management methodologies
• Fluent in English and in the local language.
• Local safety certification if applicable
• Knowledge of the local regulation related to E&HS
• Availability to travel regularly in the country for audits if needed and sometimes to travel abroad.
