Cloud Engineer

Job Overview Plan A Technologies is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the infrastructure migration from AWS to Azure. This role will work closely with the Azure Migration Team to deploy and optimize our application in Azure, leveraging the Azure Startup Program and H100 GPU capabilities to scale our infrastructure for advanced workloads. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience across both AWS and Azure environments, along with solid programming skills in Go. Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles, specially with migrations, to be considered for this role. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Collaborate with the Azure Migration Team to transition infrastructure from AWS to Azure Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure for application workloads Support and optimize existing AWS environments during the migration phase Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems Assist in integrating GPU-based infrastructure (H100) for high-performance workloads Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across both cloud environments Contribute to infrastructure design decisions and best practices Experience 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles Proven hands-on experience with AWS and Azure (migration experience strongly preferred) Strong programming skills in Go (Golang) Experience deploying and managing cloud-based applications and services Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and system reliability Experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g., platform, DevOps, migration teams) Team player, and able to problem-solve under minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Initiative and drive to do great things.
