Position Summary

Sunchine Inspection is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive based in Quito, Guayaquil, or Cuenca.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing market opportunities, expanding the Company's inspection and product certification services (Certificate of Conformity / Certificate of Inspection – CoC/CoI), and strengthening strategic client relationships.

The role will also support market expansion initiatives for products exported to Ecuador, in line with the Company's recognition by the Ecuadorian Service of Accreditation (SAE) as an authorized Inspection and Product Certification Body to issue CoC/CoI.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand Sunchine Inspection's market share in Ecuador's TIC sector.
• Promote and grow Inspection, Testing, and Certification (CoC/CoI) services for products exported to Ecuador.
• Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Analyze competitors, market trends, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making.
• Understand client behavior and design effective business growth strategies.
• Implement Head Office (China HQ) market expansion directives, including vendor sourcing, client development, and competitor analysis.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Ecuador operations and China HQ, providing daily market updates and reporting within 24 hours.
• Lead and support bidding processes, tenders, and proposal submissions.
• Coordinate business-related events, meetings, and marketing activities as required.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and due diligence tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry.
Strong knowledge of product certification and conformity assessment processes (CoC/CoI).
Good understanding of the Ecuador import and export market.
Proven expertise in business development, client acquisition, and contract negotiation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English (Spanish is a strong advantage).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
Ability to work independently, meet performance targets, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in industry-related technology and business tools is an advantage.
