We are seeking a skilled and motivated Internal IT/Help Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and for providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve technical issues for our internal staff, ensuring that our systems and equipment are running smoothly to support our operations.

Requirements

  • Mid-level English.
  • 2+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, and/or Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common business applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work under a hybrid modality in our Quito, Ecuador office.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Linux Professional Institute Certification LPIC)
  • Security Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, ISC2 certifications or similar)


Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to internal staff via phone, email, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other devices.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Assist with software installations and updates.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Document support tickets and resolutions.
  • Assist other departments with tasks related to Internal IT.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures across the company.
