Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Quito with the flexibility of some work-from-home options. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality. Day-to-day activities include creating and maintaining test cases, performing manual and automated testing, and collaborating with the development team to identify and resolve issues. The role also requires monitoring and reporting on testing progress and ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, and QA Automation
  • Experience in creating and executing Test Cases and implementing Manual Testing procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies: Scrum, Devops
  • Skills in Automation tools : Cypress, PlayWright , K6.
