JD Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Architect with deep expertise in data modeling for both operational and analytical systems. The ideal candidate will design, build, and govern scalable data architectures that support real-time and batch workloads across modern cloud-based data platforms
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain enterprise-level data architectures supporting transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) use cases
Develop and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models for operational and analytics platforms
Architect and manage data solutions using PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, and Snowflake
Design large-scale data processing systems using Apache Spark (batch and streaming)
Build and support real-time data pipelines using streaming and pub/sub messaging systems
Define data integration patterns for ingesting data from multiple sources (batch and streaming)
Establish data governance, quality, security, and lineage standards
Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to data architecture and performance
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering team
Must-have Skills
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
Strong expertise in data modeling for both operational and analytical systems
Hands-on experience with tools like:
PostgreSQL
Amazon Redshift
Snowflake
Advanced knowledge of Apache Spark for large-scale data processing
Experience designing streaming architectures and working with pub/sub systems (e.g., Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, or similar)
Strong SQL skills and understanding of performance tuning and optimization
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed systems
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
