Quito TransPerfect Freelance

TransPerfect is currently looking for freelance linguists to join our team for English into Spanish linguists and meet the needs of our VIP clients from the legal industry.

Work Schedule: Flexible

Engagement Model: Freelance

Languages Needed: English and Spanish

Content: Contracts and agreements


Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

· Spanish Native Speaker

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and Spanish (Honduras).

· Specialized in legal translation

· Able to use CAT tools.

· Having experience in Machine Translation Post Editing.

· Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar.

· Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.

Must have at least 1 of the below:

· A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;

· years of translation experience and a college degree;

· years of translation experience and no college degree; or

· A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

· Applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a Translation, an MTPE and a Proofreading test respectively.
