Overview

Northbuilt Construction and My Shower Today are growing residential remodeling companies focused on custom bathroom remodels and 1 day shower upgrades respectively.

We are seeking a bathroom remodel installer who will be responsible for installing, coordinating and supervising day-to-day activities of our bathroom remodel projects. This role requires strong leadership, team first communication and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on budget per the agreed schedule. The installer will work alongside a project manager to successfully complete bathroom projects contributing to the success and growth of the company.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Installation

: Perform project related tasks as needed such as site prep, demolition, light framing, shower panel system, LVP flooring, setting vanity and countertop, paint, punchlist.
- Supervision:

Direct and supervise activities of construction work and trade partners on site. Ensure tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.
- Quality Control:

Monitor work quality and adherence to company standards, project specifications and building codes. Conduct regular inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations. Conduct daily safety briefings and site inspections.
- Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, time sheets, and safety records.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Work Planning:

Assist in planning and scheduling work activities. Ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used.
- Resource Management:

Assist in managing resources, including labor, materials, and equipment. Ensure efficient use of resources to meet project goals.
- Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction. Proactively address potential delays and challenges.
- Communication:

Serve as a key point of contact for on-site communication between clients, project managers and trade partners. Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
- Client Interaction:

Frequently interact with clients on-site to provide updates and address any concerns.

Qualifications

  • Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or vocational education in construction is preferred.
- Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Experience in bathroom remodeling or residential construction is highly desirable.
- Certifications:

OSHA safety certification is preferred.
- Skills:
- Trade knowledge of demolition, carpentry, drywall patchwork, painting, and flooring.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Project Manger
  • Direct reports: Trade Partners

Working Conditions

  • Primarily on-site work with frequent visits to various project locations.
  • May require occasional travel for site inspections and meetings.
  • Must adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) on job sites.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, typically ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year.
- Performance Bonuses:

Eligibility for performance-based bonuses tied to project completion, quality standards, and adherence to budget to be determined.
