Position SummaryWe are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to join our on-site team in Quito on a full-time basis.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of scalable web applications and websites for U.S.-based clients.
You will work across both frontend and backend technologies, contribute to architectural decisions, implement performance and security best practices, and collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and senior developers to deliver robust, high-quality digital products that meet business and user needs.
The ideal candidate is technically versatile, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern responsive design principles
Solid experience developing and maintaining frontend applications using frameworks such as React or Vue
Backend development experience with technologies such as , Laravel, Django, or similar
Experience working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent)
Advanced experience with WordPress development and management, including custom themes, plugins, updates, performance optimization, and security
Proficient use of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Ability to design, debug, and optimize full-stack solutions from concept to deployment
Understanding of API development and integration (RESTful services)
Knowledge of performance optimization, SEO best practices, and web security standards
Strong attention to UI/UX consistency, scalability, and code quality
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and client requirements
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working on production-level web applications
Exposure to cloud platforms, deployment workflows, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Degree or certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
