Specialist II, Grants Management
ChildFund is seeking a highly skilled Specialist II, Grants Management to lead the internal technical and administrative management of post-award projects in Quito, Ecuador. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate grant-funded projects to ensure alignment with project objectives and compliance with ChildFund and donor requirements.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in international relations, project management, finance, or a related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in grants and project management in international development organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing development and humanitarian response projects funded by international donors and working with vulnerable populations, migrating families, women, children, and adolescents.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Award Support: Actively participate in proposal development, review administrative documents with donors, and ensure proposals are compliant with donor requirements.
- Post-Award Management: Lead the start-up process for new grants, coordinate and supervise the technical and financial implementation of projects, and provide technical assistance to implementing partners/sub-contracted organizations.
- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning: Coordinate with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning focal point on data collection and analysis, document methodologies and best practices, and build capacity for future ChildFund grants implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in international relations, project management, finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in grants and project management in international development organizations.
- Experience managing development and humanitarian response projects funded by international donors.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Spanish.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
