About the Role

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Essity. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our quality management system and implementing processes to improve our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SOPs for quality processes
• Ensure compliance with training programs on quality issues
• Responsible for the MSA measurement system, equipment, procedures, and technical competence
• Implement and maintain the GMS document management system
• Participate in projects to reduce and eliminate quality losses
• Keep information related to QMS KPIs updated
• Responsible for the execution and monitoring of the audit program
• Manage the closure of findings from audits
• Verify the quality of materials, fibers, packaging, and information shared on the SQM supplier development platform
• Accompany the RST in managing action plans associated with the product risk matrix
• Apply the strategy to guarantee product quality
• Implement 5 S in the laboratories
• Manage actions to comply with standards, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities for improvement and savings in the production process
• Raise and review mechanical plans
• Prepare protocols and technical reports of tests carried out
• Monitor bill of materials consumption
• Create input, semi-finished, and finished product codes

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Chemical, Industrial, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in quality management
• Technical knowledge in quality management, laboratory analysis, process statistics, and audit of quality management systems
• Competencies in achievement orientation, analytical thinking, staff leadership, problem resolution, and decision-making
