About The Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to design, build, and optimize the backend systems that power a high-performance digital asset trading platform.

This role involves close collaboration with technology, trading, operations, and senior leadership teams to deliver scalable, secure, real-time trading solutions.

The ideal candidate is experienced in backend development for trading systems, deeply technical, and passionate about building robust infrastructure in the digital asset space.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs that support high-performance trading operations.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic and ensure seamless user experiences.
Optimize application performance and scalability to support growing trading volumes and user demand.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance backend applications for improved stability and performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and internal standards.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to support continuous improvement.
Stay current with emerging technologies, digital finance trends, and advancements in blockchain to drive innovation.


Requirements:
3+ years of experience in backend development for trading systems or algorithmic trading infrastructure.
Strong expertise with Java 17, Spring, Aeron, PostgreSQL, direct TCP/UDP usage, SBE, REST/WS, FIX, Docker, AWS.
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and storage solutions.
Solid understanding of RESTful API development, especially in trading environments.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Experience developing secure applications and understanding best practices for digital-asset-related security.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong drive to stay at the forefront of backend technology.
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, remote team setting.
