Geotechnical Expert – Flood & Risk Mitigation (Project-based, Ecuador)

Haskoning is identifying a Geotechnical Expert based in Ecuador to support a flood and risk mitigation consultancy project on a project-based basis.

What you will do as Geotechnical Expert
You will provide advanced geotechnical expertise supporting engineering studies and designs in high-risk environments.
Conduct geotechnical analyses for rivers and risk-prone areas
Support design of stabilization and mitigation measures
Interpret investigations and geotechnical data
Coordinate with hydraulic and structural specialists
Contribute to technical reports and deliverables

This is a project-based position for professionals based in Ecuador, working within an international technical team.

What you bring
You are an experienced geotechnical specialist based in Ecuador, with solid experience in complex consultancy projects.
University degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or related field
Completed master's degree in a relevant field
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering
Proven experience as specialist in up to 4 consultancy projects > USD 500,000
Proven participation in at least 1 consultancy project ≥ USD 1.6 million
Experience in projects in rivers, ravines, and risk-prone areas.
