Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Operations based in Guayaquil. The Director of Operations will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, focusing on optimizing efficiency and performance. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, resource allocation, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and fostering a culture of excellence. The role also involves collaborating across departments to drive operational improvements and contribute to the company's growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Operations Management and effective resource allocation for maximizing efficiency
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, solve problems, and drive evidence-based decisions
  • Experience in Team Management, leading diverse teams, and fostering collaboration
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and resource management to ensure financial sustainability
  • Excellent Customer Service skills to maintain and build client relationships
  • Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related fields is a plus
  • Familiarity with the seafood or agriculture industry is advantageous
