About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support our dynamic legal team.
The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in personal injury law, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong ability to manage cases efficiently from intake through resolution.
This role requires someone proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases, including client intake, case management, and document preparation.
Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
Manage case files, including medical records, discovery, and settlement documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and court personnel.
Schedule and coordinate appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
Maintain case calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance with court rules.
Conduct legal research and summarize relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
Support attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the legal team.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
2–5 years of experience as a legal assistant in personal injury law.
Strong knowledge of personal injury procedures, medical terminology, and insurance processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in legal software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with court filing procedures, both electronic and physical, preferred.
