As a Accounting/billing specialist, some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:

  • Process Carrier Invoices: Review carrier invoices and supporting documentation daily to verify completeness and accuracy prior to billing approval.
  • Document Management: Upload and categorize carrier documents appropriately for record keeping and future reference.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and action the accounts receivable aging report daily to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Customer Follow-up: Confirm that customers have received the required backup documentation for all invoices and that payments are made according to agreed terms.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies between accounts receivable balances and expected customer payments.
  • Adjustments and Write-offs: Process necessary account adjustments and write-offs in accordance with company policy.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on billing and collection status to management, highlighting any risks or delays.

Minimum requirements:

  • Studies:
    International Business, Business Administration, Finance, or administrative related.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 6 months - 1 year of experience in billing, reviewing, and processing invoices.
  • Language:
    Good English skills. B2+ or higher is preferred.

Perks:

  • Schedule:
    Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.
    following the US Calendar.
  • Contract:
    Productive contract
  • Location:
    Only for Guayaquil, Ecuador. This position will be on-site at Regus Guayaquil (4 Pasaje 1 NE, Mall del Sol, 4th Floor Torres del Mall).
  • Salary:
    $800 USD + Commission plan
