JOB OVERVIEW
Plan A Technologies is looking for a Product Manager with a deep passion for the Android ecosystem. You will lead the strategy, design, and execution of features specifically tailored for our Android user base. You understand that Android is more than just a port of an iOS app; you are familiar with Material Design, the fragmentation of hardware, and the unique capabilities of the Play Store.
Please note: you must have at least 5+ years in Product Management, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Android mobile products to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Define and execute the roadmap for our Android application, ensuring it aligns with overall business goals.
Leverage platform-specific features (e.g., Widgets, Notifications, Foldables) to create a superior mobile experience.
Work closely with Android Engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA to ship high-quality updates.
Analyze Play Console data, Firebase analytics, and user feedback to prioritize features and fixes.
Oversee the release process, including A/B testing, staged rollouts, and Store Listing Optimization (SLO).
EXPERIENCE
5+ years in Product Management, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Android mobile products.
Strong understanding of Material Design 3 (Material You) and Android OS versioning.
Proficiency with Google Play Console, Firebase, Jira, and wireframing tools (Figma/Whimsical).
Experience using data to drive decisions (SQL knowledge is a plus).
Ability to translate complex technical constraints into clear product requirements for stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Initiative and drive to do great things.
