Role Description

This is a contract for projects
, Hybrid SEO Specialist role based in Quito, Ecuador
. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing search engine optimization strategies to increase organic visibility, traffic, and qualified leads for U.S. clients across multiple industries.

The role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical SEO knowledge, and the ability to collaborate closely with content, marketing, and web development teams to ensure best-in-class search performance.

SEO Specialist

The
SEO Specialist
is responsible for driving organic growth through on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives. This role focuses on keyword research, content optimization, site audits, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of search rankings and conversion outcomes.

The SEO Specialist works with industry-standard SEO tools to analyze data, identify opportunities, and implement strategies aligned with client goals and search engine best practices.

Core Responsabilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headings, internal linking, and content structure
  • Perform technical SEO audits (site speed, indexing, crawlability, schema, mobile optimization)
  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to optimize blogs, landing pages, and web copy
  • Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms
  • Track KPIs including organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and engagement metrics
  • Identify and implement link-building and authority growth strategies
  • Prepare clear performance reports and insights for internal teams and clients
  • Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices

Key Skills & Qualifications (Optional for LinkedIn)

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
  • Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
  • Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • English proficiency (written and reading required)
