About the Position:

This position is responsible for leading the technical development and promotional activities of the company's product line in the agricultural sector. The specialist will generate, validate, and transfer key technical information about agricultural inputs, ensuring effective product positioning through training, technical support, and field demonstrations. The role bridges the gap between R&D, sales, and growers to support sustainable and effective product adoption on a technical basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute technical development plans by conducting field trials and product validation with banana, oil palm, cocoa and tobacco growers.
  • Provide technical support to the commercial team and distributors to ensure proper application and market positioning of the products.
  • Implement technical promotion strategies tailored to the floriculture market, including field days, training sessions, technical talks, and events.
  • Collect, analyze, and present technical data related to product performance under different production conditions.
  • Prepare technical reports, support materials (e.g., datasheets, presentations, application protocols), and collaborate with the marketing team on technical content.

Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge in plant nutrition, crop protection, biostimulants, and integrated crop management for crops.
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills, both in the field and in formal settings.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to flower production areas and adapt to field conditions.
  • Degree in Agronomy or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the crop protection industry.
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree or any other training
  • Experience in technical promotion and commercial support in the agricultural sector.
  • Proven ability to conduct field trials, manage business plans per grower, and follow up with detailed technical reports.
  • Familiarity with digital sales channels and B2B business development.
  • Knowledge of agricultural machinery, drone technology, and irrigation systems.
  • Experience in working with agrochemical and biostimulant products.
  • Use of CRM tools, field data collection systems, and basic agricultural software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Desirable: Certifications in Integrated Pest Management, Safe Use of Agrochemicals, or Precision Agriculture.
