Position Overview

Teamficient is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer / Drafter with at least 8 years of experience in structural design and advanced Revit modeling. This remote role is focused on developing detailed, accurate, and constructible structural models for U.S.-based projects.

The ideal candidate is an expert in Autodesk Revit (Structural) and has experience working with point cloud data, materials quantification, and site modeling. You'll collaborate closely with architectural and MPE teams to ensure technical precision, compliance with U.S. standards, and smooth project coordination.

This position is perfect for professionals who excel in technical accuracy, efficient coordination, and digital design documentation in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed structural Revit models for design and construction documentation.
  • Perform materials quantification and takeoffs for concrete, steel, and other structural systems.
  • Integrate point cloud data for as-built modeling, ensuring high precision in all structural elements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of structural systems and utilities coordination in the model.
  • Review and redline structural drawings to maintain accuracy and design intent.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review, markups, and collaboration.
  • Contribute to project documentation standards and digital workflow improvements.

Qualifications & Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required)
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in structural design and documentation
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structural)
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience in point cloud integration and modeling (required)
  • Proven experience in materials quantification and construction takeoffs
  • Knowledge of structural and utilities coordination in models
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu for markup and review (preferred)
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working with the U.S.-based projects and understanding American standards is highly preferred

Technical/System Requirements

  • Desktop or laptop with Intel Core I7 or I9 or AMD Ryzen 7 or 9 (or higher) processor
  • Minimum 32GB RAM for multitasking and large file handling
  • NVIDIA RTX or AMD Radeon Pro graphics Card is recommended.
  • Workstation free from noise and distractions
  • Stable primary internet connection and backup internet
  • USB headset with noise-cancelling microphone
  • Backup power source (generator, UPS, or accessible alternative workspace during outages)
