We are looking for a mid-level Frontend Software engineer with 2+ years of experience.
You'll be primarily focused on building and maintaining user-facing applications in React and Typescript, while collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver high-quality, accessible, and performant features.
As a mid-level engineer, you are expected to take ownership of features end-to-end, with some guidance from senior team members.
WBF provides technology-enabled solutions and services for gig workers' organizations and unions, supporting their members through innovative tools.
Our frontend applications are built with and Flutter, connect to a NodeJS-based backend (NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL) with various API-based integrations.

Solve complex technical challenges alongside our international team of software engineers
Implement features end-to-end: coding, writing tests, updating documentation, deploying, and reviewing.
Build and maintain responsive, performant, and accessible applications.
Contribute to a range of consumer-facing products across several technology stacks.
Work closely with product managers and designers to define feature requirements and implement thoughtful solutions.
Participate in architecture and technical design discussions with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
Conduct thorough code reviews, promoting high standards of code quality and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communications skills in English.
2+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
Proficiency with and TypeScript (required).
Solid understanding of core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and browser APIs.
Experience with component-based architecture and state management in React.
Comfortable collaborating in a remote, distributed team using tools like GitLab, Slack, and Jira.
