POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled Python and JavaScript/React Developer with solid experience building and maintaining scalable applications. The role involves developing back-end services and APIs, creating intuitive front-end interfaces, and managing deployment workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with complex systems, and able to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Improvement
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Python
- Build dynamic, responsive front-end applications with React
- Collaborate on application architecture and design decisions across the stack
- Develop and optimize APIs (REST and GraphQL as applicable)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both front-end and back-end systems
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
- Support deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines
REPORTS TO:
- Locally: To the GBS Structure
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Software engineer , electrical engineering or related.
- 4+ years of professional experience with Python and JavaScript/React
- Strong background in Django framework and API development
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and deployment best practices
- Exposure to GraphQL is a plus, but not required
LOCATION:
Bogota - Colombia.
