About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist with 2+ years of experience managing invoicing, payments, and reconciliation for law firms. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, detail-oriented, and familiar with legal billing software and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
  • Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in case management and accounting systems.
  • Generate billing reports for management and attorneys.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in law firm billing or accounting.
  • Proficiency in legal billing software (Clio, Timeslips) and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines consistently.
