Quito Canton, Pichincha BUOY Remote job

We are currently seeking an experienced English-Speaking Bookkeeper (QuickBooks) to join our team in Quito, Ecuador. This role requires a strong background in billing and accounting, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to communicate professionally with English-speaking customers. The position will also support administrative and HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage billing, invoicing, and payment processing using QuickBooks
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform account reconciliations
  • Communicate with English-speaking customers regarding billing inquiries and account issues
  • Provide professional customer service via phone and email in English
  • Assist with administrative duties, including documentation and reporting
  • Support HR-related tasks such as maintaining employee records and assisting with onboarding processes
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 
    3 years of recent English-speaking customer service experience
  • QuickBooks experience is required
  • Accounting background (education or professional experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with administrative or HR support functions
  • Familiarity with U.S.-based billing or accounting practices
