Quito Token Metrics
Token Metrics is looking for a dynamic Senior UI/UX Engineer who will be responsible for the UI and UX design of our various digital assets. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.
The Senior UI/UX Engineer should have a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology and should be able to build visually appealing and engaging front-end experiences optimized for both web and mobile devices, delighting our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and User Experience:
  • Create visually appealing and user-centric designs.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.

  • Front-End Development:
  • Implement responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Work with popular JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.

  • Performance and Compatibility:
  • Ensure optimal performance of web pages across different devices and browsers.
  • Debug and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Optimize web pages for speed and scalability.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Design Skills:
  • Proficiency in UX, UI, visual interaction, and graphic design.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.

  • Development Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or
  • Proficiency in and its ecosystem.

  • Performance Optimization:
  • Experience in optimizing web pages for performance and speed.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google PageSpeed Insights.

  • Cross-Browser Compatibility:
  • Ability to ensure designs and code function seamlessly across various browsers and devices.
