Position Summary

We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to lead EdgeUno Ecuador.
This role is responsible for rebuilding the company culture, driving sales performance, ensuring operational excellence, and representing EdgeUno's values in the Ecuador market.

The General Manager will act as both a strategic leader and an execution-focused operator, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the executive team to align Ecuador's growth with EdgeUno's overall regional strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

  • Rebuild and strengthen the local company culture based on EdgeUno's core values: Earn it, Own it, Keep it Simple, Be Part of the Solution, and Do the Right Thing (Be Fair).
  • Lead, inspire, and coach the Ecuador team to deliver high performance with accountability and collaboration.
  • Identify cultural and performance gaps, and take decisive action to fix them.
  • Implement effective leadership cadence (weekly L10 meetings, quarterly reviews, and clear goal-setting).

Sales & Business Growth

  • Oversee the Ecuador sales organization — audit current pipeline, improve conversion, and rebuild relationships with customers.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth by improving lead generation, customer engagement, and pricing discipline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise, carrier, and hyperscaler customers.
  • Set clear sales KPIs and performance metrics aligned with company goals.

Operations & Customer Excellence

  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, operations, and network teams for flawless service delivery.
  • Improve customer satisfaction, reduce churn, and ensure service uptime aligns with SLA commitments.
  • Implement process discipline and strengthen local accountability.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Own the P&L for Ecuador — ensure profitability, efficient operations, and compliance with corporate and local requirements.
  • Partner with the finance and HQ teams to improve collections, cash flow, and reporting.
  • Optimize local costs while maintaining high quality of service.

Representation & Partnerships

  • Represent EdgeUno in Ecuador's telecom, cloud, and data center ecosystem.
  • Build trusted relationships with partners, regulators, and key customers.
  • Promote EdgeUno's brand presence in local industry events and community initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in telecom, cloud, or data center industries.
  • Proven success in rebuilding teams and turning around underperforming operations.
  • Strong track record in sales management and revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Deep understanding of Ecuador's business culture and telecom ecosystem.
  • Based in Quito, Ecuador, with ability to travel as needed.
