As part of the Field Service Mechanical Team, the
Senior Service Technician, 4 Stroke
will be designated to perform overhauls of Wärtsilä 4-stroke engines. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of experience and technical proficiency in the following areas:

Core Competencies:

  • Rigging and lifting operations for engine components.
  • Precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other high-accuracy tools.
  • Mechanical cleaning of engine parts using approved methods and tools.
  • Handling and use of hand tools for disassembly and reassembly.
  • In-depth knowledge of 4-stroke engine systems, including combustion, lubrication, cooling, and fuel systems.

Language Requirement:

  • Minimum English level B1 (intermediate) for technical communication and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus):

  • Experience in predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, etc.).
  • Familiarity with turbochargers and their maintenance.
  • Understanding of engine operation and auxiliary systems (e.g., pumps, heat exchangers, air systems).
