The Work You'll Do

Corporate Account Executives are responsible for working with new clients to sell company products and close long-term contracts. They will also handle contract negotiations, updating sales force automation, and other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals process. This role will oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals while effectively utilizing resources throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals. The goal is to articulate the value proposition of Sovos' products and services while collaborating with various departments, including Sales, Legal, and Finance.

More Specifically, You Will:
  • Prospect within assigned territories to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunities.
  • Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans to ensure quota attainment.
  • Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to share new ideas and business development strategies.
  • Leverage multiple communication methods.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Effectively plan and execute sales territories.
  • Ask questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities.
  • Act as a role model and mentor across the organization, sharing best practices and messaging.
  • Show willingness to learn from other sales roles, internal business partners, and client experiences.

What We Need From You:

  • Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles.
  • 1-3 years of experience in BDR, quota-carrying sales role, or similar; software solution sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex concepts.
  • Capacity to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Familiarity with technology, including phone systems, computer hardware, and software applications, to fulfill work requirements and facilitate effective communication.
